Ignore this if you're already LJ friends with me, or whatever. Just adding a note cuz I never got around to it before. In the, you know, 7 years I've had this thing.

I'm doing a really, really good job of isolating myself from everyone I know. 

I am using my tumblr like all the time now. Crap. That was unexpected. At some point, I am going to go back and cross-post all my text entries from there on here because this is a better cataloging system, but if you'd like my tumblr, again, it's this.

No new job yet. Honestly, I haven't really been looking. But my mom's freaking out and I'm going to run out of money in September (while racking up and not paying off credit card bills), so I probably should figure out something soon. I'm kind of waiting to hear about this one possibility in the next few weeks, but I should really at least find something temporary or freelance in the mean time. Especially because if the paperwork for this other thing goes through, it looks like I'm going to qualify for Writers Guild membership by the end of the summer. Which is super awesome, and yay insurance, but I gotta cough up a $2500 membership fee. Which I know my parents would front me (once you qualify for WGA, you HAVE to join), but I'd rather not make them.

And on that topic, we are now less than two weeks away from VidCon. Which is AWESOME for two reasons. One is that my friend from college is coming to visit me that week and I haven't seen her since I left, and the other is that we have a panel at VidCon for Lizzie Bennet (I'm not on it, but still cool) and I get to go for free. And stalk everyone from Squaresville. I've tried to warn them it's happening.

We've also got a lot of cool things coming up with the show that I am both excited and nervous about. We shall see how things go...

For those of you who may have missed my spamming Twitter and Facebook, here is the second episode of the web series I've been writing for as my first paid writing job. It's called "The Lizzie Bennet Diaries," and it's a modern day vlog adaptation of Pride & Prejudice. Our first episode came out on Monday, and we already have 19,000 subscribers as of this entry. We're currently the YouTube channel that's received the most subscriptions in the past 24 hours (13,000 vs JennaMarbles at second place at under 8,000 -- huge difference!!). The first two episodes are largely introducing characters and setting stuff up, but things will get going next week. We release two episodes a week, Mondays and Thursdays, and my next one comes out next Thursday. The pilot can be found here. If you like them, please like/comment/subscribe!
