Ignore this if you're already LJ friends with me, or whatever. Just adding a note cuz I never got around to it before. In the, you know, 7 years I've had this thing.

For those of you who may have missed my spamming Twitter and Facebook, here is the second episode of the web series I've been writing for as my first paid writing job. It's called "The Lizzie Bennet Diaries," and it's a modern day vlog adaptation of Pride & Prejudice. Our first episode came out on Monday, and we already have 19,000 subscribers as of this entry. We're currently the YouTube channel that's received the most subscriptions in the past 24 hours (13,000 vs JennaMarbles at second place at under 8,000 -- huge difference!!). The first two episodes are largely introducing characters and setting stuff up, but things will get going next week. We release two episodes a week, Mondays and Thursdays, and my next one comes out next Thursday. The pilot can be found here. If you like them, please like/comment/subscribe!

So January is coming up, which means it's time to swear things off again. This is what I did last year, to semi-success: linkity link. And here is my preliminary list:

• coffee
• alcohol
• watching TV alone (movies are fine)
• going out to eat
• reading fan fiction

I can't swear off Facebook or Twitter this year because I have to have social media access for both of my jobs. But I should probably also think of things in January I *have* to do.

• watch 6 movies
• read a book
• read 10 scripts
• try to sell a bunch of my stuff I don't want anymore

People keep talking about leaving LJ. If you are, I'm sorry you feel that way, you will be missed, and goodbye. I, however, am not going anywhere. Yes, what they did is stupid and utterly pointless and I hope it gets fixed, but it's really only problematic for communities. I'm pissed about it for that reason, but it doesn't effect my personal journal. I'm not going to get all huffy and go to another site when my personal stuff isn't effected. It'd be easier if my comms stayed here, and I hope something works out, but if they go to another site....I can just read them there. I don't have to move 8 years of my life to read things elsewhere. Anyway, just sayin'. *shrugs*
